This install applies to "Revolutions" © 1990 Amaze.
Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem and 0.5 MB OtherMem (+0.9 MB for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD
- Self-modifying code fixed
- Blitter wait added
- Decrunchers (Defjam 3.2, ByteKiller) relocated to fast memory
- DMA wait in replayer fixed (x4)
- Byte write to volume register in replayer fixed (x2)
- Timing fixed
- Interrupt fixed
- ButtonWait supported for loader part
- CUSTOM1 enabled reset part
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
This music disk is heavily inspired by "Sounds of Gnome" which
is not a bad thing at all of course.
Code is quite OK so patching it wasn't too much work. I have relocated
all decrunchers, for the ByteKiller crunched data an error check has
been added which will make WHDLoad quit with an appropriate error message
in case decrunching fails. The demo also features a reset part, this can
be enabled with CUSTOM1=1.
The music disk can be downloaded here:
ftp://ftp.amigascne.org/pub/amiga/Groups/A/Amaze/AMAZE-Revolutions.dms
Enjoy it from HD and have a nice weekend everyone.
