This install applies to "The Breath of the Muse" © 1994 Chryseis & Poseidon.
Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad to be in the path.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 2.0 MB ChipMem (+0.9 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing Dek (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD
- All OS stuff disabled
- Cache problems fixed
- Interrupts fixed
- ButtonWait support (see below)
- Decruncher (CrunchMania) relocated to fast memory
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works with NOVBRMOVE (default key is 'F10')
A patch for this very nice deno was requested by Frequent some days
ago and this morning I created it while enjoying my first coffee. :)
The demo features quite clean code but originally would refuse to run
on fast CPU's, this has now been fixed. There also were some other minor
problems, f.e. a wrong call to OwnBlitter (demo called DisownBlitter+4 instead!)
which have all been fixed as well as I have disabled/patched all the OS
stuff.
The demo needs all the 2MB chip memory as it uses memory at the end of the
chip range.
If you want to listen to the music at the end of the demo you can use the
ButtonWait tooltype, the demo will then loop forever until the left mouse
button has been pressed.
Enjoy the demo from HD, it features nice effects, good graphics and a really
good tune.
