The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.3 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
- Full load from HD
- Access faults fixed (x2)
- Blitter waits added (x372, 68010+ only)
- Wrong copper wait fixed
- All decrunchers (modified ByteKiller) relocated to fast memory and optimised
- Interrupts fixed
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x17)
- Reset at end of demo patched to quit back to DOS
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
This is quite nice demo with the usual good code by Tex and nice effects.
There were a few problems to fix, the NoisePacker replayer had a bug with
caused an access fault, in one part illegal memory was accessed due to calling
a routine to initialise sprites without the proper arguments, a lot of blitter
waits had to be added in the plasma and sine scroller parts, they are only applied
on 68010+ machines. Quite a few Bplcon0 fixes were needed as well and one wrong
copper wait had to be fixed. Other than that the code is really fine!
Enjoy the demo from HD.
