This install applies to "Deadly Jammin 2" © 1989 Deathstar.
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed game requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+880k for Preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
- Full load from HD
- Byte write to AudXVol fixed (x2)
- Blitter waits added (x11, skipped on 68000 machines)
- NewIcon (created by me, if you have better icons freel free to send them)
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Another day, another patch. This time for Deathstar's "Deadly Jammin II"
which is a nice musicdisk. Just done because I wanted to work on something
else than the patch for Deathstar's Megademo (Hi Karpow :) for a moment.
Code is quite clean, except for the missing blitter waits (there were
none in the whole demo) and a direct rom jump to acknowledge a level 6
interrupt there were no major problems.
I have disabled the loader part as it was only visible for a very short
moment. If you can't live without the loader part either bug me to enable
it or just use the included source to enable it yourself.
Enjoy the nice tunes (press help to enable tune selector).
Have fun and enjoy yet another classic demo from HD now.
Greetings to all in Scarab and Scoopex, the WHDLoad team and to Musashi5150 :)
Extra greetings to Wepl, Bored Seal, Galahad and the usual suspects on
#amigascne, see you all at Breakpoint 2010! :)
