Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad and RawDIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.4 MB OtherMem for preload)
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD (real files!)
- Blitter waits added (x19)
- Interrupts fixed
- Illegal copperlist entries fixed (x23)
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x20)
- Timing fixed
- Byte write to volume register in replayer fixed (x2)
- Decrunchers (ByteKillerPro) relocated to fast memory and error check added
- ButtonWait support for title picture
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Nice little trackmo here, always liked it even though the effects
aren't that special. I coded the RawDIC imager Sunday evening and
today, 2 days later, I patched most of the demo at work when I had
some minutes to spare. Still quite a lof of time was spent at home
to finish the patch as a lot of blitter waits and other fixes had
to be added. The blitter waits are not time-critical so they will also
be applied on 68000 machines.
The timing in the intro part and the text writers might be a bit
off on very fast machines, I don't consider this much of a problem though.
I have added ButtonWait support for the title picture, if enabled the
picture will be displayed until you press either mouse button.
All parts have been crunched with ByteKillerPro, I have relocated all
decrunchers to fast memory and added an error check, in case decrunching
fails (corrupt/bad data) WHDLoad will quit with an appropriate error
message.
Enjoy the demo from HD, it features great tunes by Twins and Firefox!
