Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+1.8 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD
- OS stuff emulated (DoIO, Forbid, Permit etc.)
- System-friendly level 6 interrupt recoded
- Decrunchers (PowerPacker) optimised and relocated to fast memory
- Reset patched to quit back to DOS
- DMA wait in replayer fixed (x8)
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Missed this music disk back in the day (TM), just found it this morning
and quickly patched it. Code is very good, except for the CPU dependent
DMA wait in the replayer no bugs had to be fixed! Definitely not too common
for a 1992 demo.
There were quite some OS routines used though which I had to emulate,
the replayer in the intro part also used a system-friendly level 6 interrupt
which I had to recode to use the hardware.
You can quit the music disk by either pressing your quitkey, clicking on
"Reset" in the main part or by pressing both mouse buttons (hidden feature
left in by the coder).
Enjoy the music disk from HD, the tunes are pretty nice and design is good!
This patch is dedicated to the memory of Ian Curtis (Joy Division singer)
who died 36 years ago (18-May-1980).
