This install applies to "Music Disk 2" © 1991 Vega.
This install requires WHDLoad and RawDIC to be in the path.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.8 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
- Full load from HD (real files!)
- All OS stuff patched (Draw, Move, PolyDraw etc.)
- Self-modifying code fixed
- DMA wait in replayer fixed (x2)
- Byte write to volume register fixed
- Interrupt fixed
- DMA settings fixed
- ButtonWait support for title picture
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
This music disk features some really nice and calm tunes!
Started to patch it this morning when I arrived at work and had most
of the patch finished a short while later. Back home I extended my
"OS emulation" routines and added support for PolyDraw which the demo
uses to draw the analyser lines. All line drawing is done using
graphics.library routines (Draw, Move, SetAPen etc.) which I luckily
already supported in my emulation code so creating this patch wasn't
that much work.
I have added ButtonWait support for the title picture, if enabled the
title picture will be shown until left mouse button has been pressed.
To save some HD space all files in the "data" directory can be packed
with any of the crunchers by WHDLoad (FImp, ProPack etc.).
Enjoy the music disk from HD and have a nice weekend everyone.
