It's probably late...any to chance to map "Space" to second fire button? It's is used almost as often as first fire button.

Sorry to say but the messages stays "unsupported version" :( |

Messages stays the same :( I installed the game completly new. Also the installer shows "v1.3" but after strating it crashes with "unsupported version". |

Yet about "Space"...
probably not so much needed, I have looked at manual and "Space" can be replaced by "Press fire three times" (I didn't know that until now). |

Either your disk image is different to the one you have uploaded here or there is another problem. Please start WHDLoad with option "filelog" and post the resulting CRCs of files BOND and ABR2 that are stored in file .whdl_log.

The image was taken shortly so the version must be right. |

File "ABR2" is broken. There is data missing in the file which leads to a different checksum. Not a problem of the patch. If you install from the image posted on Mantis here, the patch will support your version. |

That's really weired.... I took the image from the disk and you're right - it works, but the disk won't work.
