Description | GameVersion: english,pal, 1 disk (Real Disk HitSquad PAL) + Try too SPS 1483 IPF File (US Retail version) SlaveVersion: VERSION 1.1: (17-Sep-2003) Hi, I have try 2 differents versions of Platoon Game : 1) English,pal, 1 disk (Real Disk HitSquad PAL) 2) SPS 1483 IPF File (US Retail version) On my A500 (ECS PAL 8372A 1MB) WITH ACA500PLUS @14Mhz WITH 7MB FAST I Have differents issues after "Enterring the combat Zone" into the jungle when start the Game 1)With Pal (HitSquad version), I have a message : Exception "Line 1111 Emulator ($E02c)at $8742 Occured 2)With US (Retail Version), I have a message : Exception "Illegal Instruction ($E010)at $8766 Occured Both version tried too but without any problems on my A1200 A1230Turbo+II @40 Mhz with 32MB Please, Could You Have a look. Hi, After multi tries, i found something who will interest You... On my ACA500Plus, generaly I use standard speed for 68000(@14MHZ). But with ACAC500PLUS You can configure CPU Speed at 7Mhz, 14MHz, 21 MHz,28 Mhz or 42 Mhz... The Icomp constructor ask to use ACA500PLus system @14 Mhz for more stability... But as Psygore told me today about LionHeart games problem about graphism glitch, Speed @14 Mhz is to small with LionHeart (I resolved lionHeart problems with ToolType NOVBRMOVE as written into readme file). But tonight, I decided to verify CPU speed with Platoon game... and My results are : @ 7 MHZ same issue as my initial message with crash message... both platoon games PAL & US Versions @ 14 MHZ same issue as my initial message with crash message... both platoon games PAL & US Versions @ 21 MHZ same issue as my initial message with crash message... both platoon games PAL & US Versions BUT @ 28 Mhz both Platon games (PAL & US Versions) works perfectly without any crash messages .... But as Icomp.de wrote about CPU speed: "Speed of the 68000 CPU. This value is limited by the respective setting in the global configuration (F8, above). 14MHz (the default) is considered safe and guaranteed. 21MHz and higher speeds are considered a bonus and are therefore not part of product support." My question is can You change something in the slave to resolve ACAC500PLUS speed problems... to play with that game @ 14 MHZ without need to use a Big Overclock speed..
