This install applies to the "Action Replay MKII/III Loader" © 1991 Datel
Electronics.
Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad version 17.0 to be in the path.
It can be found in the WHDLoad package.
The installed program requires 1 MB ChipMem and 0.5 MB OtherMem.
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
This Slave is able to load freezed states created by the Monitor Action
Replay. These files are normally loaded via the Aload program provided by the
Monitor. It supports freezed files from the MKII and MKIII revisions of the
Monitor. Due Memory limitations only freezed files containing 512K or 1M chip
memory are supported. Files containing slow memory ($C00000) or fast memory
($200000) cannot be loaded, an error message will be displayed is such cases.
Please note that despite the freezed program can be restored, it does not
mean that it will be properly working on a different hardware (cpu, chipset,
...). Note also that it will fail if it tries to access the kickstart rom
(except the kickstart rom is the same as when freezed and no mmu is used).
The Slave uses 1MB chip memory. For freezed files which need only 512KB it
would be possible the assemble a Slave which requires only 512KB. The
source for the Slave is included.
The name of the freezed file to load must be specified using the Custom
option. Use either tooltype Custom=Filename or the same on the command
line.
If the option Custom1=1 is set, the Slave will also restore the floppy drive
status. Normally that should not be neccessary, except you want the program
to load addtional data from floppy disk.
