Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.9 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD
- Self-modifying code fixed
- Interrupt fixed
- DMA wait in replayer fixed (x4)
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x29)
- Decruncher (StoneCracker) relocated to fast memory
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Yesterday a bug report regarding the patch for Museum was sent to the
WHDLoad mailing list, this morning I checked the old patch and well, I
completely made a new patch from scratch as the old one wasn't exactly
good, none of the problems with the code had been fixed and it required
more than 512k chip ($81000 bytes) as apparently someone was unable to
find the reason why the demo crashed with 512k chip only.
The crash was a simple stack problem which was easily solved, there also
were quite a few Bplcon0 color bit fixes needed, the replayer had the
usual DMA wait bugs, there was some SMC to fix and the interrupt had to
be fixed too. Additionally I have also relocated the StoneCracker decruncher
to fast memory for faster decrunching.
The old patch didn't allow quit on 68000 machines either, I have fixed this
too of course!
Enjoy this classic slideshow from HD properly now!
