This install applies to "Epilepsia" 1992 Amnesia.
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem and 0.5 MB OtherMem
(+0.9 MB OtherMem for preload)
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
- Full load from HD
- Interrupts fixed
- Timing fixed
- Self-modifying code fixed
- Access faults fixed
- Blitter waits added (x6)
- DMA wait in replayer fixed (x4)
- Decruncher (modified ByteKiller) relocated to fast memory
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Here's the result of about 2 hours of work on this Sunday evening.
Patching the demo took longer than expected due to the interrupt
(level 1) driven loader. Other than that there wasn't anything
special so enjoy the tunes if you like the early 90s techno style.
The tunes can be selected with F1-F6.
