This install applies to "Lithium" © 1992 Awesome.
Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad to be in the path.
It can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.5 MB for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD
- All OS stuff patched
- Access fault in replayer fixed
- Random generator recoded (relied on raster beam position)
- Interrupt fixed
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x25)
- Timing fixed
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Nice one-file demo coded by Black Raven who later joined Haujobb.
Patched most of it when I arrived at work, back home I recoded the
random generator used in the first part as it relied on the raster beam
position which meant the logo effect would look really bad on fast
machines. I also had to fix an access fault in the replayer, it was the
usual problem that an index register was used without initialising it
before. Other than that there were some timing problems and quite a few
color bit fixes had to be applied to the copperlists.
The demo is quite nice, only problem is that the parts are too long
and there's no way to skip them so it gets boring after a while.
The demo can be downloaded here:
ftp://ftp.amigascne.org/pub/amiga/Groups/A/Awesome/AWESOME-Lithium
Enjoy the demo.
