This install applies to "Kefmania" © 1992 Cult.
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem and 0.5 MB OtherMem
(+1.8 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
- Full load from HD
- Blitter waits added (x6, 68010+ only)
- Illegal copperlist entries fixed (x8)
- DMA wait in replayer fixed (x8)
- Interrupts fixed
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x43)
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Another Cult demo with good code which is rather boring. It's basically
just one routine reused and slightly modified in all of the Keftales
parts. The techno part doesn't feature any real code as it's a mere
animation player. Anyway, patched this demo just for fun this Saturday morning
and had everything finished after some hours of not too hard work.
Except for adding a lot of Bplcon0 color bit fixes and a few blitter waits not much
had to be fixed.
Loading was done using large tables which contained all of the tracks to load, either
the data was saved using some tool which generated these lists or the coder didn't
know of a better way. It's a quite strange way to load data anyway. To avoid OS
swaps I load all parts in one go instead of one track at a time as originally done
in the demo.
Enjoy the demo from HD.
