Welcome to my first WHDLoad patch in 2013. Reason for making this patch
was a rather pragmatic one. I was checking some old demos during the
Christmas holidays and this one just didn't work correctly. So I was
curious and tried to find the reason for this, it was caused by wrong
checks in the interrupts for the interrupt request. The btst instruction
which was used to check the interrupt request works with bytes only when the
destination is a memory location thus the btst #x,$dff01e instruction checked
the wrong bits causing the interrupt not work correctly. Same problem kept
me busy for a while in the part with the many scrollers, here bset was used
to enable the CDANG bit which caused all kinds of strange unpredictable
problems. It's interesting how these rather simple mistakes cause such major
problems.
Other than that the code is quite OK and the demo, while not being the most
interesting one, is quite entertaining to watch so enjoy it from HD now.
