This install applies to "Highway 1930" © 1990 Fraxion.
This install requires WHDLoad to be in the path.
It can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.4 MB for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 or left mouse button (in end part)
(key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
- Full load from HD
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x3)
- Timing fixed
- Graphics problems on fast machines fixed
- Possibility to quit with left mouse button added (end part only)
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Not much in terms of code here but really nice graphics and great
tunes by Keo. Always liked this one and it still looks nice more than
20 years later. Code had a few minor problems which weren't hard to
fix. I have added an option to quit with left mouse button in the
end part (the vertical scroller), you can quit the demo at any time
with the quit key of course.
The demo can be downloaded here:
Enjoy this nice looking and sounding classic.
