Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.9 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing Del (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD
- OS stuff patched/emulated (DoIO, Forbid etc.)
- Self-modifying code fixed
- Interrupt code completely rewritten
- Invalid copperlist entries fixed (x2)
- CPU dependent delay loops fixed (x3)
- Timing fixed
- Resident code disabled
- Decrunchers (TetraPack 2.1) relocated to fast memory
- DMA wait in replayer fixed
- Byte write to volume register fixed
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'Del')
Another old but not bad music disk, tunes are quite OK for 1989.
Code is rather simple but not too bad either, the vertical blank
interrupt relied on GfxBase/Kickstart functions so I simply recoded
it. There also was some self-modifying code which has been fixed
too of course. The "contact part" was only displayed for a very
short moment on fast machines as it uses CPU dependent delay loops
and counters. This has been fixed too, the part will now be displayed
for 5 seconds. There also were illegal entries in the copperlist,
coder probably used a buggy macro to create the copperlists I guess.
Default quitkey is "Del" as F1-F10 are used in the demo to select
the songs.
Not much more to say here, enjoy the music disk from HD.
