This install applies to "Felix - Don't You Want Me" © 1993 Project A.
Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.5 MB for preload)
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD
- OS stuff patched
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x9)
- OS-friendly CIA interrupt in replay routine recoded
- DMA wait in replayer fixed (x4)
- DDFSTRT fixed (x6)
- Access faults fixed
- Timing fixed
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Another requested patch here. The little code that is in the demo
is more or less OK but not exactly great. The protracker replay routine
uses OS-friendly CIA interrupts which I had to recode using the hardware.
Other than that there were quite a few timing problems to fix and a lot
of wrong DDFSTRT values to correct. There also was an access fault
in the replayer sample init routine and one in the main demo due to
a very lame (=beginner level!) bug regarding the stack handling.
And nope, I did not code this demo (or rather: animation player with
music). :)
Stay safe and healthy everyone,
