This install applies to "Muzaks Disk 1" 1990 Securitate.
Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.9 MB OtherMem for preload)
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD
- Self-modifying code fixed
- Interrupts fixed
- Blitter waits added (x15, 68010+ only)
- CUSTOM1 can be used to force the blitter wait patches on 68000
- Timing fixed
- ButtonWait support for loading screen (see below)
- DIWSTRT settings fixed (x2)
- DMA wait in replayer fixed (x3)
- Byte write to volume register in replayer fixed (x2)
- Decruncher (ByteKiller) relocated to fast memory and error check added
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Nice music disk especially considered the release date (April 1990).
Code had a few problems, the DIWSTRT settings in the copperlists only
worked on OCS machines, on ECS+ machines the display would be (almost)
empty! Some blitter waits had to be added too, these are only applied
on 68010+ machines, to force them on 68000 machines use the CUSTOM1 tooltype.
I have added ButtonWait support for the loading screen, if enabled the screen
will be shown until right mouse button is pressed. This way you can listen
to the whole loader tune.
All binaries have been crunched with ByteKiller, I have relocated the
decruncher and added an error check, if decrunching fails WHDLoad
will quit with an appropriate error message.
Enjoy yet another music disk from HD.
