This install applies to "Chip Music" © 1989 Slipstream.
This install requires WHDLoad to be in the path.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.3 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
- Full load from HD
- OS stuff patched
- Interrupt fixed
- Timing fixed
- DMA wait in replayer fixed (x2)
- Byte write to volume register fixed
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x2)
- Interrupt and DMA settings fixed
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is F10)
Another quick patch here, code by Marc (who was later known as N.O.M.A.D)
is OK, except for some minor problems there wasn't much to fix.
It's claimed in the scroller that 4-Mat coded the play routine, this is
wrong! The tunes are all standard Noise Tracker modules and replayed with
the bog standard Noise Tracker replay routine.
The "ChipMusic" file can be packed with any of the crunchers supported
by WHDLoad (FImp, ProPack etc.). To quit you can either use the quitkey
or left mouse button.
Enjoy the music disk from HD.
