This install applies to "Sunset Glow" © 1988 Thrust.
This install requires WHDLoad to be in the path.
It can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.2 MB for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 or left mouse button
(key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
- Full load from HD
- Drive access removed
- Decruncher (ByteKiller) relocated to fast memory
- Self-modfifying code fixed
- DMA wait in replayer fixed
- Byte write to volume register in replayer fixed
- DMA settings fixed
- Timing fixed
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
This is another one of the old Thrust releases that I have always enjoyed.
Very simple code but very enjoyable nevertheless. I quickly patched it
after I had finished the patches for the 2 Ottifanten demos. The demo
uses ByteKiller crunched data but it seems to be somehow broken, at
least the checksum doesn't match which is why I have disabled the error
check this time.
The demo can be downloaded here:
Enjoy yet another classic from days long gone by.
