Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.8 MB for preload)
It can be quit by pressing F10 or left mouse button
(key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD
- All OS stuff patched
- Decruncher (ByteKiller) relocated to fast memory and error check added
- Sprite problems fixed
- Interrupts fixed
- DMA settings fixed
- Bplcon0 color bit fix
- DMA wait in replayer fixed
- Byte write to volume register in replayer fixed
- Added possibility to load tunes with 'Return'
- Replayer init called after a module has been loaded
- Source code included as usual
- NewIcon (created by me)
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
This patch was made when I arrived at work this morning, some nice
tunes here. Code is OK but a few problems had to be fixed. It seems
as if it was planned to release this as trackloading demo, there
is code in the demo to load data using trackdisk.device, I have
disabled that of course. There were some sprite problems as sprite
7+8 weren't initialised which caused ugly graphics trash on screen.
I also added an option to load the selected tune by pressing return
as that's more convenient in my opinion, loading a tune with F1 will
still work too of course.
If you want to save disk space, you can pack all the tunes with one
of the crunchers supported by WHDLoad (ProPack, FImp etc.).
You can download the demo here:
ftp://ftp.amigascne.org/pub/amiga/Groups/W/Warfalcons/TWF-BeatBox.adf
Enjoy the demo from HD.
