Never heard of this game until I saw a bug report on the Mantis
bugtracker for it. I checked the old patch and it only supported
a cracked version so I made a completely new patch from scratch.
Protection was quite OK for something that looks like a budget
game. The first loader was decrypted using a (rather simple) trace
vector decoder, disk format is long-track MFM (coding the RawDIC
imager didn't take long) and there was a quite useless track check
in the game as well. Coder tried to obfuscate the code but well,
if you spot something like:
add.w #$7156,d2 ; d2: $4489
you immediately know what the code is doing. Quite another wasted
effort in my (not so) humble opinion.
I have added a few trainer options which can be selected in WHDLoad's
splash window. If you select in-game keys the following extra keys
can be used:
I: toggle invincibility
1: toggle unlimited lives, player 1
2: toggle unlimited lives, player 2
N: skip level
Please note that high-score/progress saving is disabled if any
trainer options are used.
Not much more to say here, enjoy the game from HD.
