This patch applies to "Dylan Dog 06: Maelstrom" © 1993 Simulmondo.

Supports the original release (SPS #2699).

REQUIREMENTS

- Original disk or compatible disk image
- Slave requires WHDLoad 19+
- Game requires 472k chip memory, plus 188k any memory
  (+ approx 675k other memory for preload option)

FEATURES

- Game loads fully from HD
- Quit game at any time (default key F10), including on 68000 machines
- Progress can be saved and loaded (press S to save, L to load)
  - Can copy existing disk save from "DYLAN6/FIL/lzr" to "data/FIL/lzr"
- OS calls removed (no Kickstart ROM required)
- Crash fixed where player could leap from edge of one room incorrectly
- CPU-dependent loops fixed
- Empty copperlist fixed
- Fixed byte write to audXvol register (missing notes in music)
- Trainers added - set CUSTOM1 with any of the following:
  + 1 for infinite ammo
  + 2 for infinite falls through gaps
- Color/New/Rom Icons included
- Source code included

This episode is so similar to #5, I basically had to shift my patch offsets
by 4 bytes and the game was fully supported...

... except there was also a nasty mapping bug! The player could leap off the
edge of a platform they weren't supposed to, and since there was no room to
actually move to, the game started looking in invalid data for somewhere to
put them. On some setups this 'harmlessly' put you much further ahead in the
game than you were supposed to be, on others it just crashed. I've fixed the
code that leads to this problem, and also supplied a fixed map file that
prevents the jump in the first place.
