| Summary | 0002110: If the Ball is in a locked Situation, the table doesn't shot it back (for example: in the KickBack on Stones n' Bones) |
|---|
| Description | I explain the problem on the table "stones n' bones". But the problem appears on all the other tables, too.
If i shot the ball into a locked situation, like the "kickback/ vault", the "tower" or the "well", the ball doesn't get shot back from there. I can only tilt the table completely and play with a new ball. This problem is not there with everey shot into the kickback/ vault/ tower/ well. It comes up at random.
Theres no error-message from whdload, so i can't make a core-dump or anything.
|
|---|
| Additional Information | Theres a thread about this bug, on the english amiga board:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=36535
But this was on the aga-version and it seems, that this guy solved the problem with a new install (i don't understand all the text, because my english is very bad)
Actually i'm using an installation, wich was created with install 2.6b.
My A500 is running in a micronik-tower with the busboard 6720 and an apollo 2030 turboboard (someone told me, that this is not a very stable system, but i don't have any other problems with whdload-installs). |

In my opinion this is game's problem and not slave's problem. On the other hand, slaves for Pinball Fantasies ECS do not like 68040. |

I'm playing the game very often from floppy disk. There are no problems with the game. It runs without errors.
I don't have a 68040 but theres a 68030 working in my system. |

It does not prove anything. There are many games about which creator's of the slaves say that it is a miracle that the game really works on real Amiga. |

I fixed the problem for CD32/AGA version: the game does not like 32-bit fastmem. It uses the highest byte of some words to store information.
I have made a hack to fix HSB on-the-fly. It works with most memory configs, but not the ones where HSB > 0x7F
I don't think I'll fix the floppy ECS version, but if someone wants to test the game with EXPCHIP set in whdload and tells me if it works better, maybe I'll re-release a chip-only version. |
