DescriptionHi Bert,

people reported black screens/delays when starting the game (see http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=94774), these are caused by the save games that are created upon startup. I guess increasing the IOCACHE should fix this easily. If you don't have time to work on this issue you can assign this report back to me.

Hi Sting, the IOCACHE is already optimized. I don't remember but maybe there were multiple files concerned. Feel free to look into it. It's a great game :)
Maybe it would help to hack in the create the full size of the file at the beginning of the save game operation (SaveFileOffset with size=1 and offset=final-1).
