Description | GameVersion: english,pal,2 disks SlaveVersion: 1.0 from 22.4.2020 Hello! For some reason it only uses the amiga3v.drv for sound, which makes it sound like an very old Sierra (AGI) game. It should use amigasnd.drv, then it would sound like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CL4cDAA5KBY I also noticed that the files "Solution" and "Manual" are for the game Codename Iceman and not for Hoyle. :) | ||||||||||||

well, in the resource.cfg file, "amigasnd.drv" is specified, but afterwards the game loads "amiga3v.drv" and yes it sounds like crap. can you attach the contents of the game version that has proper sound? |

I don't think it has anything to do with the version of the game, because I noticed the same sound issue with Space Quest 3 when using the latest WHDLoad slave (v2.0 or 2.1), but if you use an older slave-file (v1.2) instead, the sound is fine. My guess is that for some reason the game starts in a "low-memory mode" or something? |
