Can you elaborate a bit, what makes you believe the demo runs slow? There are no fixes that are speed critical in the patch so demo should (and does on all of my machines!) run at normal speed. As for the corrupted logo, your disk is most probably broken. |

The graphics corruption was caused by a too small sample buffer, demo allocated not enough memory for it which caused the problems when loading song 3 and 7. This has been fixed in the latest version of the patch. There are no speed problems though, demo runs at full speed on 68000. |

Hi Stingray thanks for fixing the gfx bug. For some reason it ran a little slower on my a600 with 4mb fast ram. I also get the same result with Winuae with a600 config and using cycle exact. The demo starts at normal speed but slows at the menu. I am using the version from the ftp server so will try it manually later. Happy new year and thanks for all your work in the amiga community. |
