| Summary | 0006743: SplashDelay=0 does not seem to work for all slaves (regardless WHDload version) | ||||||||||||
| Description | The WHDload option "SplashDelay=0" which disables the splash screen completely does not seem to work for all slave patches, and some slaves that this used to work with, no longer does after their slave update (Dynablaster v20020620 works but v20160106 doesn't). ShadowFighter slave v1.0 : SplashDelay=0 - WORKS! Worms DC slave v1.3 : SplashDelay=0 - DOES NOT WORK! It seems this option is not implemented or compatible with all slave files. I believe there are hundreds of patches that need this adjusted, so going on to update every single slave might not be practical. I would like to request a feature to force this option upon all slave files or a new option to disable splash screen. Thanks in advance! | ||||||||||||

If not possible to force this feature. please add a note in the options documentation page https://whdload.de/docs/en/opt.html that the option "SplashDelay=0" may not be compatible with all slave files |

You also need to set ConfigDelay=0 on patches that display config options in the splash screen (e.g. trainers, CD32 controls, etc.), as otherwise WHDLoad will always display the splash screen to let you select these. |
