| Summary | 0006781: Mostly invisible sprites in top 40% of screen | ||||||||||||
| Description | The music stutters as it starts playing on the main screen, then right from the start of the game most of the sprites in the top 40% or so of the screen flicker and turn invisible the moment there are numerous sprites on screen, sadly rendering the game completely unplayable. It seems to be a timing issue with sprite multiplexing. I can see reports on here about sprite rendering issues on level 3. Just to stress, this report is for issues right from the start of the game (level 1). | ||||||||||||

Btw, I'm using AmigaOS 3.2.3 - there was only a 3.2 option on the bug report form. |

I tried to write the game to floppy to compare, and the only copy I can find doesn't seem compatible with the A600 sadly, at least not with Kick 3.2.3. I tried TUDE to force Kick 1.3 but that didn't work either. I never saw this game back in the day, but it certainly looks to be one of the very best. |

Ah. I hadn't realised I simply needed to click both mouse buttons to exit the trainer cracktro on the floppy version. Playing the floppy version on the same hardware works perfectly, so it is definitely an issue introduced by the WHDLoad slave. |
