Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad and RawDIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.7 MB OtherMem for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD (real files!)
- Interrupts fixed
- Access fault in replayer fixed
- Action Replay 3 protection disabled
- Blitter waits added (x2)
- Decruncher (modified ByteKiller) relocated to fast memory
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x17)
- Byte write to BltCon1 fixed (x6)
- NewIcon (created by Frank)
- Source code included as usual
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Another one of these old and shockingly bad patches redone!
What good is a "patch" that doesn't fix ANY problems at all?
I have done this properly now, all line drawers have been fixed,
the useless Action Replay 3 protection has been disabled, lots
of Bplcon0 fixes were added, a bad access fault in one of the replayers
was fixed, some blitter waits have been added and all decrunchers have
been relocated.
Due to all this you will have to reinstall the demo.
Interesting fact: the demo checked for extended memory, this check
was completely useless and buggy as it just checked ExecBase which
wasn't killed so the memory check always returned
"extended memory available". And that check wasn't even needed as
the demo works fine with just 512k!
Enjoy this demo properly from HD now, special greetings to Dan.
