Requirements:
-------------
This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path.
These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package.
To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert.
The installed demo requires 0.5 MB ChipMem and 0.3 MB OtherMem
(+0.4 MB for preload).
It can be quit by pressing F10 (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey=").
Features:
---------
- Full load from HD
- Interrupt fixed
- Bplcon0 color bit fixes (x33)
- Decruncher (CrunchMania) relocated
- Source code included
- NewIcon (created by JHZ)
- Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10')
Quite an underrated demo which I always liked and even created a custom
HD/680x0 fix for it back in 1997. It actually was one of my very first
HD fixes, unbelievable that this was 21 years ago, time sure flies...
Old patch needed 768k chip memory which quite annoyed me and there weren't
any Bplcon0 fixes either so I completely recoded the patch. The patch now
works with 512k chip and 256k other memory. The 256k extra memory is only
needed for the 480 faces glenz part which is faked of course.
Code in the demo is quite good, except for the Bplcon0 color bit fixes and
the interrupt fix there was nothing to do. Creating the patch still took
quite a while as there were a lot of Bplcon0 color fixes to apply and the
Bplcon0 settings were often changed "hidden" in the code so testing took
a while.
Enjoy the demo from HD.
