Quite an underrated demo this one which was released at the very
first "The Party". I have always liked it and so I decided to finally
create a patch for it.
The code is quite good for such an old demo but there is quite a
bit of SMC in the vector routines which wasn't much fun to fix!
Speaking of vector parts, the first big 3d part might have wrong
timing on fast machines which results in objects appearing at
different/wrong camera positions. Fixing this would require a great
deal of recoding which I'm not willing to do, not now anyway!
I might do this for a later update of this patch but it has rather
If you experience graphics problems try the "NOCACHE" tooltype as
there really is a lot of SMC in the demo. It works fine on my
machine with full caches!
I have added an option to start the included game with CUSTOM1, it
will then start directly contrary to starting the game from the demo.
I have also added an option to skip the boot anim in case you are
offended by it. :)
Other than that the demo features a lot of nice parts, good graphics
and really nice music, enjoy it from HD!
